Holdays 2020 - A Simple Message

So here we are.

The end of 2020.

It's about time.

This year SUCKED.

We lost a lot.

People.

Jobs.

Benefits.

2021, will likely not be different at first.

We have the opportunity to change it for the better, though.

Back at Thanksgiving, we talked about Abundance and the Attitude of Gratitude. These are hard things to keep in mind as pieces of life fall apart or incomes and savings start to disappear.

Do not give in.

It is easy to be down.

It is easy to be sad.

Stressed. Depressed. Miserable.

It is difficult to find the best in situations, especially when resources are scarce.

We are a cooperative species by nature, and we gain by giving.

Giving doesn't have to cost money, it can be time or talent as well.

As we move through this holiday season, I encourage you to give.

Not only for its community benefits, but also for its benefits to you.

We're in a time where the fires of hope, humanity, and justice are at the dimmest they've been in recent memory.

We can either huddle together with the last of the dying embers, or we can find fuel for the fire.

Fuel isn't always physical material, and that's the best part, we generate that fuel with time and our talents. Yes, sometimes there are physical resources needed as well, but they aren't the only thing that can be added to the fire.

I pledge to you that 2021 will be a banner year for Recruiting Hell, and that I will do my damnedest to help you in any way I can and help the world get back to work.

Thank you for listening, reading, following, sharing, and supporting these efforts.

I love each and every one of you, and no matter what you celebrate at this time of year, even if it's nothing: know that I care about you, those that are important to you, and your success.

To a bright season, and a brighter tomorrow,

~Robb
